Your Lip Augmentation Experience

Dr. Firouz augments the lips using non-surgical dermal fillers, including Juvéderm and Restylane.
Restylane Kysse can improve the shape of your lips and your lip color for up to one year, while Juvéderm Volbella and Juvéderm XC can plump thin lips and correct the vertical lines around the mouth that appear with age.

When you arrive for your appointment, we will apply a topical anesthetic to your lips. Then, we will wait about 15 minutes for the medication to take effect. This will numb the area and keep you comfortable. We will then use a thin needle to inject your chosen lip filler into your lips at strategic areas to produce the most natural results possible. From there, we may massage the area so your lips absorb the filler. The entire treatment usually takes about 30 minutes, and then you are free to return to your normal routine.

After Your Lip Fillers

Your lips may be swollen and bruised for up to one week, though the effects usually subside within 48 hours. You can apply an ice pack for ten minutes at a time to help, and you should avoid wearing lipstick, lip balm, and creams on your lips for at least 24 hours.
